Final semester students from the Dept. of History, NBBGC had the opportunity to visit the Sikkim State Archives at Zero Point. Accompanied by four faculty members, the students gained valuable insights from the dedicated archivists into archival preservation techniques, manuscript conservation, and the digitisation of manuscripts; however, the most inspirational experience for the students was an interactive presentation by an ex-student of the department, presently pursuing PhD at IIT Gandhinagar.
The visit on the whole was a memorable and enriching experience as it allowed the students to learn, explore and create lasting memories together before leaving the institution.
