The Department of Sociology in collaboration with Suicide Prevention Action Network (SPAN) Project, National Mental Health Programme, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Sikkim organised the second monthly screening programme under phase 4 on Tuesday, 2nd June in the college library. 160 students studying Sociology Honours and Elective in the second semester were screened. Their respective teachers were also present to guide students during the process.
The screening process was conducted by our student screeners from the Department of Sociology, Political Science and English under the guidance of four counsellors from the Upper Primary Health Centres (UPHCs), Gangtok and Ranipool.
