The Botanical Society of Nar Bahadur Bhandari Government College, Tadong, observed World Environment Day with great enthusiasm through a cleanliness drive and a herbal medicinal plant plantation programme in the Herbal Garden of the college.
As part of the celebration, students of both UG and PG Botany actively participated in cleaning the surroundings of the Science Block and Herbal Garden, promoting environmental awareness and responsibility. The participants also planted various herbal and medicinal plant species in the Herbal Garden to enrich its diversity and highlight the importance of medicinal plants in healthcare and biodiversity conservation.
