The 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at NBBGC, Tadong on 15 August 2026. The celebration was organised to commemorate India’s independence and to encourage students to reflect on the values of freedom, unity, democracy, and national responsibility.
The programme commenced with the arrival of the Principal, faculty members, staff, and students. The National Flag was unfurled, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The college premises resonated with patriotic spirit as students and faculty members participated enthusiastically in the ceremony.
The Principal addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of Independence Day, the sacrifices made by freedom fighters, and the responsibilities of young citizens in building a progressive and inclusive India.
The celebration was a memorable and meaningful occasion for the entire college community. It not only celebrated India’s journey as an independent nation but also reminded students of their duties and responsibilities towards the country.
