The Department of Sociology in collaboration with Suicide Prevention Action Network (SPAN) Project, National Mental Health Programme, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Sikkim organised the third monthly screening programme under phase 4 on Thursday, 13th August 2026 in the college library. 77 students, currently in their third semester, from the Science stream were screened.
The screening process was conducted by our student screeners from the Department of Sociology, Political Science and English under the guidance of three counsellors from the Upper Primary Health Centres (UPHCs), Gangtok and Ranipool.
