The Department of Commerce, NBBGC, organised a Career Awareness Programme on 14th October 2025 at the College Seminar Hall to guide commerce students on future career opportunities.
The session was led by C. S. (Dr.) Pintu Prasad Jaiswal, Chairman of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Siliguri Chapter, and Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Commerce, Kalipada Ghosh Tarai Mahavidyalaya. Dr. Jaiswal, serving as the Resource Person, delivered an insightful talk on “Career Prospects for Commerce Students,” with special focus on the Company Secretary course.
A total of 166 students from the 3rd and 5th semesters actively participated in the programme. The session was also attended by faculty members of the Department of Commerce and concluded with a vote of thanks expressing appreciation to Dr. Jaiswal for his valuable contribution and motivating interaction with the students.
