A grand felicitation ceremony was held in the College Seminar Hall on Monday, 8 September 2025 in recognition of the meritorious service of two senior faculty members: Dr. Mona Shree Pradhan, Head, Department of Education, and Dr. Pramila Koirala, Head, Department of English.
The programme was attended by faculty members, administrative staff and students. Principal, Dr. D. Purohit, highlighted the collective hard work, determination, and perseverance of both teachers. Their service serves as a testament to the power of education and the potential that lies within each one of us. Sir shared some anecdotes from his time spent working with the awardees. Senior Administrative Officer, Shri Munna Pradhan, also took the opportunity to congratulate the teachers and share some memories as a college student back in the nineties. Dr. S. S. Chhetri, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, also made the audience reflect on the challenges teachers face in the new era.
Dr. Pramila Koirala expressed appreciation for such meaningful acknowledgment. Similarly, Dr. Mona Shree Pradhan too shared her experience of teaching in the college for over three decades. The programme ended with tea and snacks for all the attendees.
The felicitation of senior faculty members is undertaken annually by the college to enhance the morale of the teachers.
