The Department of Sociology in collaboration with Suicide Prevention Action Network (SPAN) Project, National Mental Health Programme, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Sikkim organised the third monthly screening programme for the year 2025 on Friday, 13th June in the college library.
Around 70 students from all the Science Departments participated in the exercise. The screening process was conducted by 10 student screeners from the Departments of Sociology, Lepcha and History along with 3 counsellors from Gangtok and Ranipool Upper Primary Health Centres (UPHCs).
Dr. Nancy C. Lhasungpa, Department of Sociology, NBBGC was present to ensure smooth conduct of the programme.
