A cultural programme was organised as part of INSPIRE 2025 with the objective of providing a platform for students to showcase their talents in singing and dancing. The event was conducted as an Inter-Departmental competition in the college auditorium. A committee was constituted to ensure the smooth conduct of the competition. The committee members were as follows:

The cultural celebrations commenced on 13th May 2025. We began with the first round of Mr. & Miss NBBGC on the same day, with the finale held on 15th May 2025. Following that, The Voice of NBBGC 2025 began with its first round on 19th May, the second round on 21st May, and the third round on 26th May. The finale was held on 6th June 2025. Simultaneously, the Inter-Departmental Dance Competition started on 20th May and concluded with its finale on 6th June 2025. Similarly, the Hip-Hop Song Competition, which started on 21st May, also concluded on 6th June 2025.
The Finale, held on 6th June 2025, was graced by Dr. D. Purohit, Principal, NBBGC, who attended the programme as the Chief Guest. Mr. Munna Pradhan, Senior ADM, and Dr. Jiban Upadhyay, Vice Principal, NBBGC, and Dr. Sonam T. Bhutia Dean of Student Affairs, were the Guests of Honour. The event was also attended by the Heads of all Departments, Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, administrative staff, distinguished judges of various events, and students.
SINGING COMPETITION (THE VOICE OF NBBGC):
A total of forty-five (45) participants registered for the competition in the first round, out of which twenty (20) were shortlisted for the quarter-finals, ten (10) for the semi-finals, and five (05) participants competed in the finale. The winners were declared as follows:
- Winner: Mr. Pratham Gadaily
- First Runner-up: Ms. Dipti Berdewa
- Second Runner-up: Ms. Pema Tamang
INTER-DEPARTMENTAL DANCE COMPETITION:
The Inter-Departmental Dance Competition saw participation from sixteen (16) departments in the first round, from which seven (7) were shortlisted for the finale. The winners were declared as follows:
- Winner: Political Science Department
- First Runner-up: Zoology Department
- Second Runner-up: Physical Education Department
MISS NBBGC:
A total of twenty-eight (28) participants registered for the first round, out of which six (06) were selected for the finale. The winners were declared as follows:
- Winner: Ms. Deepa Chettri
- Runner-up: Ms. Saroja Manger
Mr. NBBGC:
- Winner: Mr. Hissay Dorjee Lachenpa
- Runner-up: Shesang Gurung
HIP-HOP SINGING COMPETITION:
A total of twenty-two (22) participants registered for the first round of the competition, out of which five (05) performed in the finale. The winners were declared as follows:
- Winner: Mr. Arpit Subba
- First Runner-up: Mr. Suraj Darnal
- Second Runner-up: Mr. Dharmendra Sharma
All judges for these events were professionals in their respective fields and were invited from various Dance Institutions and the Department of Culture. The finale held on 6th June 2025 commenced with the College Song performed by the College Choir group, followed by a welcome speech delivered by Dr. Tashi T. Bhutia, Convenor of the Cultural Committee. The competitions included the Hip-Hop Song Competition, The Voice of NBBGC, and the Inter-Departmental Dance Competition. The Chief Guest, Dr. D. Purohit, Principal, addressed the fully packed auditorium and shared his valuable insights with the faculty members and students. Dr. T.B. Chettri proposed the vote of thanks at the end of the cultural finale, commending the organisers and all involved for the grand success of the event.

The Grand Finale was held on 7th June 2025 and was graced by the Hon’ble Minister of Education, Sports and Youth Affairs, Mr. Raju Basnett, as the Chief Guest. Mr. Yogen Tamang, Press Secretary to the Chief Minister, was the Guest of Honour. The day commenced with the College Song performed by the College Choir Group, followed by a welcome speech delivered by Dr. D. Purohit, Principal, NBBGC. The cultural programmes featured performances by the top three contestants of the singing and dancing competitions. Mrs. Renuka Chettri, Committee Member, and Dr. Tashi T. Bhutia, Convenor of the Cultural Committee, also performed solo songs. The Chief Guest, Mr. Raju Basnett, addressed the gathering and shared his encouraging words with students, faculty, and administrative staff of the college. Subsequently, prizes were distributed to all the winners of the various events of the fest. Dr. Sonam T. Bhutia, Dean of Student Affairs, proposed the vote of thanks at the end of the Grand Finale.
