On 11th April 2025 Department of Education, NBBGC organized a student interactive program in collaboration with Assam Don Bosco University in the college seminar hall. A group of 25 students pursuing under graduate and post graduate courses from Assam Don Bosco University accompanied by two faculty members Dr. Ranjita Chanda and Dr. Tania Sur Roy visited the college. NBBGC students from BA IVth and VIth Semester, pursuing Education honors, warmly welcomed the guests and made them feel comfortable.
The students from NBBGC came up with an elaborate power point presentation explaining details about their Department, faculty members and the activities conducted in the Department. This was followed by another power point presentation from the students of Assam Don Bosco University regarding their institution, faculty members and the activities undertaken in their University.
After which the students from NBBGC and Assam Don Bosco University took turns to come up on the stage and put up questions to each other on various aspects of student life, educational activities, learning experiences, student goals and job market in their respective areas. They also inquired about each other’s culture, cuisine and hobbies. The interactive session was very interesting and lively. Students from both educational institutions exchanged their social media addresses and contact numbers to keep in touch. Overall the program was very fruitful as the students from both institutions got the opportunity to interact and learn about each other. Most importantly students from NBBGC also got the chance to interact with few students from Vietnam and Myanmar studying in Assam Don Bosco University.
