The Department of Sociology in collaboration with Suicide Prevention Action Network (SPAN) Project, National Mental Health Programme, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Sikkim organised the fourth monthly screening programme under phase 4 on Friday, 9th October 2026 in the college library. 90 students, currently in their first semester, from the School of Languages were screened.
The screening process was conducted by our student screeners from the Department of Sociology under the guidance of three counsellors from the Upper Primary Health Centres (UPHCs), Gangtok and Ranipool.
