The Department of Sociology in collaboration with Suicide Prevention Action Network (SPAN) Project, National Mental Health Programme, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Sikkim organised the monthly screening program on Friday, 30th June 2023 in the college library. This was the second screening program wherein first year students from the Departments of Education, Chemistry and Mathematics participated.
The screening process was conducted by 2nd year student volunteers from the Department of Sociology under the guidance of counsellors from Gangtok and Ranipool Primary Health Centres (PHCs). Faculty members from the Department of Sociology, NBBGC were also present to ensure smooth conduct of the program.
