Essay/Painting Competition as Part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

As directed by the Directorate of Higher Education, Education Department, Government of Sikkim, an Essay writing and painting competition was held for the students of NBBGC on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on 10.08.2022. The winners of both the competitions are to be awarded cash prizes of Rs.2500, Rs1500 and Rs.1000 for 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd prizes respectively.The competitions were held in the College Library from10 AM to 22:30 PM. The Principal of the college, Dr. D. Purohit graced the occasion with his kind presence and offered words of encouragement and motivation to the participating students. In spite of the ongoing end term examination students enthusiastically turned out to participate in the competitions.Mr. Vivek Chettri, Head of Department of Physics judged the Painting Competition.The coordinators of the program Dr. Pramila Chettri and Dr. Chongtick Lachungpa both judged the Essay Competition.
