The NSS unit is comprised of volunteer- students from all the undergraduate batches. The activities of the NSS unit are supervised by three coordinators selected from the existing faculty members. Activities like blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, community welfare and socially relevant works are undertaken by the NSS volunteers from time to time.<\/p>\n

With the motto \u201cNot Me But You\u201d NSS is a part of our College involving students in as many activities as possible to fulfill the aims and objectives of NSS. The main objectives of National Service Scheme (NSS) are:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

i. to understand the community in which they work
\nii. to understand themselves in relation to their community
\niii.to identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem-solving
\niv.to develop among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility
\nv. to utilize their knowledge in finding practical solutions to individual and community problems
\nvi. to develop competence required for group-living and sharing of responsibilities
\nvii. to gain skills in mobilizing community participation
\nviii. to acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitudes
\nix.to develop capacity to meet emergencies and natural disasters and
\nx. to practice national integration and social harmony
\n<\/b><\/p>\n
